Delete your account

You can delete your Romanian Unlocked account at any time, from inside the app. This page explains what that removes, what it does not, and how to ask us to do it for you.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Romanian Unlocked and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone.
  4. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. You will be signed out, and the account cannot be recovered — if you come back later, it will be a new account with no progress.

What deletion removes

  • Your account itself — your email address, display name and profile picture.
  • Your learning progress: finished lessons, review schedule for flashcards, streaks and XP.
  • Your notes and favourites.
  • Your AI conversations — the messages you sent the conversation partner and the grammar teacher, and the replies.

We remove this from the live systems straight away, and it ages out of backups on their normal schedule, within 30 days.

What deletion does not do

It does not cancel your subscription. Your subscription is held by the store you bought it from, not by us, so it keeps renewing until you cancel it there:

  • Google Play — Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Romanian Unlocked → Cancel.
  • App Store — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Romanian Unlocked → Cancel.
  • Bought on the web — use the customer portal linked from your members area, or write to hello@mroxy.eu.

We also keep billing records for as long as tax law requires, even after the account is gone. They contain what was paid and when — never your card details.

If you cannot get into the app

Write to hello@mroxy.eu from the email address on the account, with the subjectDelete my account. We will confirm and delete it for you. If you can no longer reach that inbox, tell us what you can and we will work out how to verify it is you.

Prefer not to delete?

If you only want to stop paying, cancel the subscription and keep the account — you will keep access until the period you already paid for runs out. SeeSupport for everything else.
